Between
La Rochelle and Bordeaux, alongside the Atlantic Ocean and bordering
the Medoc vineyards in France, lies the huge site of Euronat. This
fabulous holiday and residential area situated in pine forest has a
lot to offer and not the least is the 'Centre de
Thalassotherapie'. A
place to be pampered, cosseted, wrapped in the balming benefits of
seamud , soothed in warm seawater and massaged. This is a place where
the well being of the mind and body is all important and this is the
place where Angie Morris has been offered the opportunity to exhibit
some of her work. It will come as no surprise that the theme of the
exhibiton is 'the body' and from April 1st - 5th November 2006 you can
see (and buy!) 10 of Angie's prints at the centre.
Summer exhibition.
Dates: April 1st - November 5th 2006
Venue: Centre de
Thalassotherapie, Euronat, 33590 Grayan et L'hopital, France
Theme: The Body.
The french connection has further influenced inspiration and available
soon will be a set of 5 prints under the heading 'Bistro'. The simple
yet unusual style is very striking and Angie looks forward to making
them available to you.
Also appearing in the on-screen gallery any day now, available as a
limited edition print will be: 'Pueblo'. 'Pueblo' meaning 'white
village' started life in Andalucia in southern Spain where the white
painted villages hide from the fierce sun amongst the shade of the
purple mountains and olive groves. The original is one of Angie's
acrylic on canvas paintings but somehow the scene seemed ideal for
developing into an abstract digital image.
Last but not least; coming soon, a new take on a rather appealing
familiar subject entitled 'Camouflage'. Keep watching - or you may
miss it! |
